Sid was a pleasure to work with; he answered my questions promptly, came out to my house several times and was very willing to do whatever he could to make the process as painless as possible. His crew completed the work in a timely fashion and exactly in line with the schedule he had given me (two days). The crew was polite and courteous and did a great job with the final product. I am remodeling the rest of the basement myself, and the egress window is probably the best looking part of it!

He responded to my initial call within a day (and apologized that he didn't call me back on a SUNDAY!), and came out to estimate the job within 2 days of our first contact. His bid was fair and he was very nice. We followed up with him a few weeks later after getting other bids that just confirmed he was right in the ball-park, if not a little bit cheaper. His crew of young guys were polite, and did a nice job of cleaning up the inside of the house. (Our yard was a bit muddy - but that's because the install happened in March and probably couldn't be helped with the melting snow.) They finished the project within 2 weeks, since they had to come back to do the regular window replacements. (They were on back-order.) I highly recommend Sid for this type of work. He's a straight-up guy - both my husband and I felt he was VERY trustworthy and kind.

Sid answered my call promptly when I requested a bid to install an egress window. He was particularly attentive to the best location for the window in terms of necessary distance from existing structural supports and the amount of light that would be generated. (I was also pleasantly surprised that basement windows can be installed in the winter!) I think it was a great price, and it only took 2 days, one day to dig out the space needed and another to install the two windows. I think the timbers look great and think they will look even better with some vines or flowers growing in it. The window lets in a lot more light than I expected and was well sealed and insulated. The only thing I wish I had done differently was specify the color of the window sash before installation. (My windows have dark sashes, and the new window was white.)

The crew was very professional and introduced themselves when they arrived. The window installation needed to be rescheduled due to an employees illness, but I received a phone call early that morning. The price was competitive, 1/2 of the other quote.
