Sid Handlos, the founder of Egress and Basement Windows, Inc. first became involved in the window industry over 20 years ago as a designer/planner for a leading remodeling contractor. With his expertise and work experience, he developed a unique bond with his customers and was eventually persuaded to branch off on his own; he found his niche in custom egress and basement window installation. For the past nine years he has been servicing the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin averaging about 350 installations per year.

In 2006, Sid added to his already successful business. He saw a need to even better service his clients; as a result he added two more office employees in addition to his two work crews to better service the needs of you, the client.
